May want to provide more information such as what version of Outlook and if
you are on an Exchange server.
To start check to make sure that your windows in fully updated as well as
Office. May want to run Detect and Repair on Outlook. Determine where it
is hanging that will at least help determine if it is a network or program
issue. Example, does it hang when doing a send/receive or when the program
launches or when you are opening an attachment.
How can anyone answer a question when you give absolutely no information,
like Outlook version, account type, what you're doing when it happens, what
rules you have defined, what add-ins you're running, or any other symptoms
you may see?
