Outlook hangs receiving large email

Dear all,

I'm using Ms Outlook 2003 and now, everytime i run it, it hangs while
trying to open a large email , ~9MB. I can't do anything on my Ms
Outlook 2003, as it's showing "Not responding" and will hang there.

What can i do?

How much RAM do you have? Does it hang endlessly or if you go away, get
some coffee or a snack and come back in a little while will it have finally
opened it? What anti-virus software are you using?
