Outlook hangs for ever when migrating settings to 2003

Hi
I am upgrading Office 2k to Office 2003 which all goes well until the first
time Outlook 2003 is opened when it hangs when doing migration of settings .
System is a Win XP Pro client, using Exchange Server under SBS 2003. Another
client using Win2k had no problems.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks for any suggestions.

Where is the process does Outlook hang? Have you tried a new mail profile?
