Outlook 2003 hangs on Migrating Settings

Upgraded a user from Outlook 2000 (pop3) to Outlook 2003 (w/ POP3 and
Exchange). Client now hangs on "Migrating Account Settings" during
initial startup of Outlook aftre the upgrade. Any ideas??? Won't go
into safe mode, ran detect and repair, rename several .dat files, etc.

did you go into control panel, mail and create a new account? also remove
the *.fav and *.srs file from C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
