outlook - gif

My outlook send an attachment "image001.gif" with every my email? Does
anybody know how I can stop it? Why is it happening? Thx, Hana

Are you using stationary, a signature, a logo, virtual business card,
anything like that?

Thanks for your answer - no, I'm not using anything like that.

These attachments seem to be harmless, I scanned them with my anti-virus
programs. The files look like "bullets" that are used in MS
word. After saving the files and opening them, they view just the same as
when opening them from the attachment.

Have any idea how to stop this happening?

Sounds like there's something embedded in the Word template you're using
when you compose your messages.
