Outlook formatting (bold, center) isn't sent. Express works!

I'm trying to sent a simple announcement with the text centered and with some
headlines bold. My composition looks correct but the message is received as
left justified and without bold characters.
If I use Outlook Express messages are formatted properly.
I reinstalled Outlook but the problem continues.
HELP!!!
