If anyone sends me an attatchment a window above the attatchment says
OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail
I cannot open it. I have checked in my connections and disabled my firewall in my virus scan and i still cannot open. I cannot find my answer in the help section.

Got this from google search>>>>: OE Attachment Blocking
Answer No.129

OE (Outlook Express) removes acces to attachments due to
security settings since the last patch (SP1) for IE6.
This is not due to AV programs, or firewalls, but the OE
program itself. You can re-enable attachments in the
security options for the program
If this dosn't work go to google and type in "Cannot view
attachments in Outlook Express".
hope this helps...

Greetings --

Outlook Express' default security settings are simply trying to
protect you. OE has no way of telling whether an attachment actually
contains a virus or not, so it temporarily blocks any of those file
types that could potentially contain a virus. In Outlook Express,
Tools > Options > Security, uncheck the "Do not allow attachments to
be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" option, assuming
you trust the source, of course. The wiser course of action, however,
would be to modify your list of unsafe files, as outlined in the KB
articles below:
