This is actually a security feature -- you can override these settings, but make sure that
you *know* who the attachment is coming from and what it is. To override them, click the
Tools menu in Outlook Express, then Options, then the Security tab, uncheck 'Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus' and then click OK.
