outlook express

confused

I just made the mistake of downloading wind. xp sp2 and
crashed my computer. GOt that resolved, but cannot
access my outlook express program because and indentiity
logon screen appears and had a password requirement which
I dont know. ie my e-mail server user id and passord
will not open outlook express.

Anybody know how to solve this, I have several important
e-mails i need and can't access.
