I had to reistall Widows omn my computer dure to numerous crashes I got since
I installed Service pack 2.
After reinstallation of windows XP home edition from my recovery disk I lost
all my files on C:\ (primary drive)......However, I have a backup external
hard drive of my older files before recovery istallation.
I was able to fix most of my pervious softwares, expect for outlook express.
I would like to import my previous email from my external drive (I:\Program
files\outlook express), version 6.0 to 6.0, but the import function could not
see any files in that folder......Where the inbox and sent files are stored?
How I could recover my previous and precious messages? Please help..........
Thank you all in advance for any hnt
Ps. I tries to copy the folder contents into new outlook express folder on
C:\ but still it can see only messages after reinstallation

You must copy your backup set to the hard-drive and remove the Read Only
attribute the files will have by default before you will be able to import
(not copy) them successfully into OE.

Folders.dbx must be included in the backup set or the import will not work.
