outlook express

i'm having an issue where my wife and i have separate e-
mail accounts. if i save someone as a contact it also
saves into her contacts. but if she saves someone, it's
not added to my contacts. i feeling somehow that the
outlook express is linked somehow. my isp tried figuring
it out but told me to contact microsoft. could someone
please help me with this issue
