I just purchased a new computer and it has windows xp home
addition. I configured my email as per instructions from
prodigy,(my internet provider) and it will not download my
email messages. I've dumped the configure several times
and re-entered the incoming and outgoing pop3
configuration as per prodigy instruction and it still
won't work right..any help would be appreciated.

You need to talk with your ISP. Be sure you have all the info correct, and
that you are using the correct user name and password.

I've done that..everything I've entered is correct
according to Prodigy
