You may need to turn ON the Auto-complete options on the IE browser:
1... Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on Content Tan and then click on Settings Button under AutoComplete
Option.
On the AutoComplete make sure the [ ] Web Addresses checked and the Forms
options.
Click on Advanced tab and under Browser check this Box:
[ ] Use Inline AutoComplete

Click [Apply..] then [OK] and Reboot your machine, does it help?.

Hi,
Try this:
On OE Click Tools >> Options >> click on Send Tab and do the following:

Check these boxes;
[ √ ] Save copy of sent messages in the sent items Folder
[ √ ] Send messages immediately
[ √ ] Automatically put People I reply to in my Address Book
[ √ ] Automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing
[ √ ] Reply to messages using the format in which they were sent.

then click on Spelling tab and make sure these checked:
[ √ ] Always check spelling before sending
[ √ ] Suggest replacement for misspelled words
______________________________________________
When checking.....
[ √ ] The original text in a reply or forward
[ √ ] Internet Addresses.

I guess if the e-mail address not in your Address Book it will try to guess
or the least the first letter not in your ADB.

Hi,
All the boxes are ticked as you suggested and still cannot get this to
accept the email address's, very strange, is there anything I need to do with
the address book ?
What actually is the correct way to write this question!! i.e. what is the
correct wording for this to make sense to everyone.

Hi Aga,
No, you describe4d your issue perfectly and we understood your issue, but
you need to clarify and make sure is it Outlook Express or Outlook (the one
comes with Office)?.
Here is the OE (Outlook Express) newsgroup:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...c3f-951a-4c1c-95bb-cef7d67581b0&lang=en&cr=US
Are you been able to Autocomplete addresses before?, what been added
recently if any like software/updates...etc.
