I need help!

I upgraded my computer hard drive and now I have a few
gliches. How do I move the files from my "old" outlook
express to my new outlook express? I have a great many
files stored in mailboxes and I need to access them.

Also, if I have created a mailbox and I want to delete it
what do I do?

Thanks,

Jody Ross

I'm assuming your using Windows XP because you posted
here. This is how to move your Outlook files to your new
drive.

Go to your old hard drive and find the following location.

C:\Documents and Settings\Ben Dover\Local
Settings\Application Data\Identities\{????????-????-????-
????-????????????}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

(note: your's will have a diferent unique set of numbers
after "Identities\???????"

The entries you find here are mailboxes created on that
drive. Copy the ones you want and paste them in the same
location on your new drive.

Deleteing unwanted mailboxes:

Start Outlook Express

Go to FILE then IDENTITIES then MANAGE IDENTITIES...

Highlite the one you want to remove then click REMOVE.

I hope that gets you through your trouble spots!
