There are four instances of OE in my start menu. All of them appear to have
the same content. Does this mean that the contents of OE are on my hard
drive 4 times? If so, what can I do to get rid of the extra instances of OE
or is it simply not possible as it is a Windows component? Can I get rid of
the contents of the extra instances of OE as well? If the contents of OE are
not on my hard drive 4 times, should I unpin the extras?

Right click each one, one at a time, select Properties, click the Find
Target button.

See if all four targets are the same.

Target will be something like:

C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE

If all four targets are the same, delete three of the shortcuts on your
Start Menu.

No. They are just shortcuts--pointers to OE.

Just delete the extra shortciuts.
