Hi, I have un-checked the tick box for OE, searched my C: drive, as fas
as I delete the various files they re-appear. I have been using another
e-mail program so I no longer want OE on my machine. How do I get rid
of it.

Don't use it. That's as good as you can likely ever do.

If you are concerned over the hard drive space, I suggest getting a bigger
drive - because being concerned over the 4-5MB it is taking up without being
in use tells me you might have an extremely small hard drive.

You can use this:

How to manually remove and reinstall Outlook Express

To remove most of the stuff associated - but it will likely have shared
DLLs/registry entries left behind long after you've turned the machine over
to the garbage heap.

Shenan is quite correct. I've used another e:mail program for years but
unfortunately most people send attachements that come from Outlook and when
you want to view them you will have Outlook or Outlook Express open. You can
fix this issue but it really isn't worth all the headaches. Just accept that
Outlook is like IE, if you want to get at some stuff on the internet you will
need it. TTFN.
