outlook express

I keep receiving the following message when trying to open
an e-mail with an attachment in outlook express "oe
removed access to the following unsafe attachment" what
can I do.

I *think* that there might be a check box in OE and/or a registry setting on
that computer that *might* apply to this.

On the Tools | Options | Security tab in OE there is a check box for 'do not
allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"
that is probably checked ( if he were to uncheck it he might be able to
actually open the attachments ).

The registry entry might be HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express with the
BlockExeAttachments as the DWord entry with the value set to '1'. Change
that to '0' - or delete it entirely - and then restart OE and that *should*
solve that!

However, I will defer to your experience....
