Outlook Express tries to send message

I have a user who is running WIndows 2000 with Office XP
When she right clicks a file to send to recipient it opens Outlook Express
and tries to send. Of course she gets an error that smtp cannot be
found....she uses Outlook and express is not setup.

Anyone have any ideas on why or How to fix?

She is able to use outlook and attach a file but just to right click and
select send to recipient is the problem

Gladys,

One thing to check is to make sure her Outlook is her default mail client.
Confirm this first by doing the following:

1.On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click Other.
2.Under General, select the Make Outlook the default program for E-mail,
Contacts, and Calendar check box.
