Outlook express to outlook

Hi all
I am trying to change outlook express over to outlook but cannot do it i
have xp. So far I have imported internet mail and address with out any
problem but I cannot import internet mail account settings. Every time I try
and do this it comes up with no internet accounts were found to import. When
I go into start -programmes-set programmes access and defaults there is only
outlook express when I test outlook I have everything coming up as ok and it
sends a email off but it goes to outlook express. I do not know what to do
now I have read various things on setting outlook up but always get stuck at
the same thing.

If OE is opened, and it has mail accounts set up, it will receive the mail.
If you have successfully sent a msg in OL, then iether you set up the
accounts manually or the import of mail settings was successfull.
How OL checks/sends mail is dependant on how you amended its mail/connection
etc settings.
I would suggest you send a test msg to yourself, then after a few mins,
click the send receive btn.
Once it is working correctly, either delete the mail accounts in OE, or set
it not to check for mail.
