When sending large attachments through Outlook Express, the message is held
in the outbox and sends numerous times to each recipient. Can anyone explain
why it would do this and how I might fix it?

Thank you

Kim,
I have the same exact problem. Did anybody get back to you?

This newsgroup is for support of Outlook

97/98/2000/2002/2003 from the Office suite of products. Outlook

Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.

For help with your OE questions, try an OE newsgroup such as

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress (for OE 6), or

an OE help website such as http://insideOE.tomsterdam.com. If you're

accessing the Microsoft newsgroups through the MS Product Support

Services "Community Newsgroups" web interface, click

http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=InternetExplorer

to get to the Internet Explorer groups, then click the plus sign next to

your version of IE to see the link to the Outlook Express group for that

version number. Good luck!

Never post your real address in a newsgroup unless you WANT viruses and
spam.

Brian,

How do you suggest handling email accounts. Are you suggesting that the
email address that shows up for you in this reply is not a real email
address?

How do you suggest handling email accounts.

Obfuscate the address you use so that it takes a human to decode it and a
webbot can't. Something like:

(e-mail address removed)

then make sure your sig says something like "Remove MYPANTS to reply."

I'm using a real Yahoo address for my posts here (although I have other
accounts not on Yahoo), but I find Yahoo's spam filter so good that I just
have it automatically delete any messages it considers spam. I still get
junk mail in the Yahoo inbox, but it's relatively easy to deal with.
