outlook express-please help

I tried to send an AVI to a friend. The file never did go
out despite several attempts...the problem is that
my "sent items" folder has the AVI file in it and it
keeps freezing up my computer. Is there a way to get the
files out of there without uninstalling internet
explorer? I am not to open the sent items folder without
freezing up the computer.

Hi Lanee,

Do a Search for: Outbox.dbx and delete it. It is a hidden file, by the way.

Close the Preview pane and then try the delete.

Don't use Sent Items to archive messages.
