outlook express not responding

A week ago my children tried to email a folder of 400 pictures to their
grandmother. I guess this folder overloaded outlook express , because the
program keeps freezing. The folder is still stuck in my out box. I can't send
, recieve , or even delite the file. Outlook express will not responde.
What do I do ?????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there an update for outlook express ?
Is there away to set outlook express so that it refuses any folders that are
to big for it to handle ??????
