| Note that this command-line switch does not work in Outlook Express 5.

According to the "APPLIES TO" section, this article has not been updated
yet regarding OE6.

and probably not in OE 6 too.... thats why its not working... thanks

mailonly
This option starts Outlook Express in the Mail Only mode. When you use this
option, you cannot view newsgroups, and the News tab in the Internet
Accounts dialog box is missing. Note that this command-line switch does not
work in Outlook Express 5.

Why????
Internet Explorer> Tools> Accounts> Only enter your mail account.
Delete your newsgroup accounts, and any other that you do not use.

This must be terribly wrong! lol

I have the correct programs under internet options and it does not work..
as I replied before in this thread, MS probably took out the mailonly switch
from
OE 5 and above.
