Outlook Express issue

can anyone help me get into attachments in Outlook
Express this is the message I get

"OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in
your mail"

no attachments are shown?
I know it is not the virus softeware
Very confused

virus scan program first that will scan all of your emails and keep itself
current. Norton is such a program. This change was done because of the large
number of computers infected by email attachments that often APPEAR to come from
