I'm sending to Outlook newsgroup because I can't find an
Outlook Express newsgroup in the Community Newsgroups
listing, which is weird in itself condisering this is the
link provided by Microsoft on its Outlook Express support
page.
My question is about synchronizing accounts when OE is
set up as IMAP. My guess (a clear explanations of this
mpoint is NOT provided in Help) is that "synchronize
accounts" means that whatever is on the local computer is
uploaded to the web mail server - not the reverse.
I have set up several sub folders on my local computer to
handle email from various sources, and synchronized the
account so that his structure is reflected on the web
server. Others users of this same IMAP account, however,
don't have different sub-folders. Which means that if
one of us synchronizes, the others lose their work. Right?
Isn't there some way to synchronize the local machines
from the server? Shouldn't there be?
