Outlook Express hides all my email attachments

And treats me like a child. NO, you cant open them, it says. I am the OE
ruler and have declared that you can not open any of your email attachments.
(But OE will show you the file name and grey it out, just to tease you.)

Of course there is no tool or message setting that can ever change this,
nobody ever gets to open any attachments under OE, you must forward to some
3rd party email reader.

All this is getting annoying, isnt there something under win2000 that will
order OE to let me open email attachments?

You should ask OE questions in the OE groups. Tools|Options|Security and
uncheck the box for "Do not allow attachments.............."

Thanks, I thought Id tried all applicable pages, clicks, options.
