outlook express hangs

I just reinstalled Win98 and updated it. Installed NAV2004 and updated it. Now Outlook Express hangs and soes not respond. Everything else works, no hardware problems, I was able to retrieve 2 days worth of emails, but now I can even get to the inbox. Any ideals ?
