Outlook Express Hangs

Each time I open OE it hangs.

Any suggestions.

Open Outlook Express and from the Toolbar select
Tools > Options and under the General tab uncheck
"Automatically log on to Windows Messenger" and click
APPLY.

Thanks but I cannot do anything with it.

Once I open OE I get the egg timer and the title bar reads - not responding

Any other ideas
