Outlook express hangs up on start.

About 75% of the time when I open Outlook express, it
hangs up. When I try to close it I can't. About a
minute later I get the following message box:

msmsgs.exe-application error
The instruction at "0x68899a56" referenced memory
at "0x01880424". The memory could not be read.

Any help would be appreciated.

maybe you should ask on the outlook express newsgroup?

==> outlook express address:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
==> msn messenger address: microsoft.public.windowsxp.messenger

To solve this problem, close Outlook Express if its running, then download and run this .reg
file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg

After this Outlook Express should startup without the error.
