Outlook Express From Outlook?

Hello,

I am a new user of Outlook (maybe) - I just got Microsoft Office 2007. I
have been a user of Microsoft Outlook for my email needs for some time now.

My question is this: Is there ANY way to get Outlook to go to my Outlook
Express when I want to send an email? I hate to have to transfer everything
if I don't have to. There are certain features of Outlook Express for
emailing that I am quite happy with.

It would be nice to be able to access those, along with having all the
features of Outlook together.

It's getting late - 11:00pm. Am I making any sense in my question?

Thanks in advance to whomever may be able to help.

Import your settings from OE using File/Import or Export

Outlook and Outlook Express are two different products - they are not
related in any way. You would use either one or the other. You can use the
Export/Import functions of both products to move your information from one
to the other.

Trying to use both makes no sense
They are completely different applications
Express is fine for simply mail, outlook does many other things.
If neccessary, within Express Export your msgs to Outlook
Stop useing Express, or set it not to retreive mail, or delete the accounts,
if you dont it will retreive mail if opened.

Thanks to all who replied.
I know the two products are different. It's just that I've had OE
for so long. I've developed some stationery there that looks totally
different when tried in plain Outlook.
I like what Outlook can do, too.
I have another question. Is there any way to edit stationery in
Outlook? Please excuse if my question seems dumb. I'm new to Outlook.
Thanks in advance.
