Outlook Express freezing on new email

I have received a email with pictures from a trusted friend. Unfortunately,
I believe she has sent too many pictures in one email and it is too big for
outlook to handle. This email is the first email in my inbox so everytime I
try to open Outlook - it freezes. I can't view it, delete it or even get my
other emails. It freezed prior to being able to check for mail. Any ideas
on hiw I can get this email deleted??
 
You can call your ISP and ask them to empty your mail box for you. At least
ours can. It's happened to before.
 
Turn off e-mail scanning for starters. Next: File>Work Offline &
View>Layout - Uncheck the Preview Pane and see if you can delete
it now. If still no joy, if available, use your Webmail access to
delete it.
