What does the message below mean? I'm trying to RECEIVE
messages, and this is what I get?

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Possible causes for this include server problems, network
problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Account: 'Comcast', Server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '+OK', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Turn off the e-mail scanning in your anti-virus.

You are still protected:

If you have Norton Anti-Spam, that can also be the cause of the
error.
