outlook express error message - help

My email program - Outlook Express in Windows XP Pro sometimes doesn't
recieve emails, even though there are emails there. I get 1 blank email
with no subject or from and them after a time out this error message. see
below.

Message number 2 could not be retrieved. Account:
'shawmail.wp.shawcable.net', Server: 'shawmail.wp.shawcable.net', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: ' with ESMTP id <0K6I00MZSCRZVCG0@l-daemon> for
(e-mail address removed); Mon,', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90,
Error Number: 0x800420CD


If I reboot it often works, but this time it happened after just starting
the computer, I first went into my emails and it gave me this problem.

Logon to your servers Website and check your mail there. Is there any
messages that have already been downloaded?

Does the error message always refer to the second message? Sounds like a bad
message is causing this. Remove message #2 from the server and any others
you don't need. Open OE and see if this has helped.
