On one of my three email accounts whenever I log on the pop3 server is
changed to 127.0.0.1 and asks me for a new password for this new server. I
enter back in the correct server but itjust shows unknown error and can't
access emails. When I re-boot the server address has changed back to
127.0.0.1

I run McAfee internet protection with spamkiller turned off.

Your server info is being changed by either an anti-virus or an anti-spam
program, not by Outlook Express.

BTW - this newsgroup is for support of Outlook, which is part of Office, not
Outlook Express, which is part of Internet Explorer. Two totally different
programs.
