Outlook Express 2003

I currently use Outlook Express for email. I would like to use Outlook 2003
for calendar functions only please.
Problem: Outlook Express receives mail, but when I double click some email
responses, Outlook 2003 email comes up.
Outlook 2003/Tools/Email Accounts shows “no accounts†and default “Offâ€.
Outlook Express/Tools/Email Accounts shows “one accountâ€.
XP Pro system.

Have you removed all email accounts from Outlook?

Outlook 2003:
Outlook/Options/Other/General : None checked.
Tools/Options/Mail Setup/Email Accounts : Says there are none.

I would right-click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Properties. Then
go to the Programs tab and for E-mail choose Outlook Express from the drop
down there. Close all open browsers and see if you get what you want.
