outlook error

I receive this error message when trying to send to a distribution list:
554 Too many recipients.

the clue is in the error message.
Is this a POP account? Your ISP probably has a limit on to avoid spammers.
Use mailmerge instead.

Your ISP has a limit on the number of addressees in any one message. It is
usually 25. Some ISPs have been known to allow up to 100. Check with them.
