Outlook error, cannot start InfoPath, help with this error please?

I installed an academic version of Office 2007 but could not activate it, so I bought the academic office 2007 standard. Unfortunately the first version didn't come with an uninstaller, so I followed microsoft's directions and tried to uninstall it manually, which took me like an hour and a half.

So when I installed the new version, everything worked fine except when I open Outlook, it gives me the error message, "Microsoft Office Outlook can't start Microsoft InfoPath. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot install the necessary files due to Windows installer error 1605." My version of Office doesn't come with InfoPath, and I've used the Microsoft installer cleanup utility and still can't get the error to go away. Any suggestions

Does the academic version come with the typical 90 days fee support from
Microsoft? Read your EULA. If so, get them a call.
