Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office infoPath errror 1605

I get the following message when I try and open Outlook 2007 I just purchased
a few days ago.
Microsoft Office Outlook can't start Microsoft Office InfoPath. Microsoft
Office can't not install the necessary files due to windows installer error
1605. The action is only valid for products that are currently installed

I know that I do not have InfoPath, I purchased the Microsoft 2007 student
home edition, so only have word, excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. So how can I
stop it looking for something I do not have.

Someone said to change go to Tools, Options, Other tab, Advanced Options
button as a checkbox to disable InfoPath forms - I tried this but mine is
grayed out and it is also unchecked.

I hope someone can help, it's aggravating not being able to use the calendar
without this popping up several before I can use the program. the program
usually starts after this pops up several times but that's a pain too.

Thank you

Thank you, It doesn't do it when in safe mode, so I went to the trust
center and removed all the add ins. then closed and restarted in normal mode
but it still appears, what can I do now?

Thanks

Did you previously have a different version of Outlook installed? You might
need to uninstall Outlook, uninstall Office, then reinstall Outlook then
reinstall Office and see if that makes the problem go away.

Your data shouldn’t be affected, but you should probably make sure you have
a good backup of your data anyhow - always a good idea.
