When we were upgraded to XP in December, my "TO" in new emails played up, and
continues to do so. An example of the problem is that when I send a new
email, it duplicates the first name of the recipiient, ie:||TO: Sharma,
vince; vince

Turn off the option where outlook uses "," as an address separator. (Tools
| Options | Prefs tab | Email Options | Advanced Email Options. Checkbox is
near the bottom of the dialog.)

Thanks

But I have tired that but no go ...... this is now driving me crazy! :)

that should have fixed it. do you notice this more when the nickname cache
(auto-suggestion) kicks in? (e.g. Start typing the to and when Outlook
2002/2003 suggests the name, use the arrow key to highlight the suggestion
and then press the delete key to clean the nickname cache entry.)
