Outlook Dropping Connection

For one of my clients, outlook is dropping his "dialed" vpn connection
whenever it is done sending/recieving mail. (VPN over broadband)

We've cleared the checkbox associated with Hang up when finished with a
manual send/recieve.

We've also changed the seconds until server connection timeout to 1200(under
the profile), and still no luck.

Any Guesses?

My outkook is doing the same but i cannot find the option or check box to
disable hang up after recieve and send, it only does this on the automatic
send and recieve when outlook is opened after the it doesnt??????????????
