Outlook datafile error message

I have tried many suggestions for this error without success.

Running
XP Media Edition
Kasperski Anti-Virus v.8
Logitech Setpoint 4.7


SetPoint:
'Microsoft Office Outlook' exited without properly closing your Outllook
data file C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. 'Microsoft Outlook must be restarted. If
this error message recurs, contact support for 'Microsoft Office Outlook' for
assistance.

Do you synchronise Outlook with a mobile phone or other PDA?

I just forward to a mobile phone. This error occured before forwarding as well.

Is your AV application integrated with Outlook? Try disabling the email
integration part. (This may involve uninstalling and re-installing without
the integrated email component...)

Although I have tried to disable the av to fix this and had no success. I
have not tried uninstalling first and reinstalling as you mentioned. Will try
and get back to you.

Well no luck. While my av was completely uninstalled and rebooted, I ran
outlook
and got the same error message. I have to assume it is not Kaspersky now
causing the issue.

Something is not allowing Outlook to close correctly. See if something here
