Outlook Data File

Outlook 2003
Using Exchange Server

I'd like to create a data file which would allow me to store email on my
computer rather than on the server. However, when I click File|New|Outlook
Data File, there are no entries under "Type of Storage" so I am unable to
proceed.

Under what circumstances would there not be anything to choose from (at a
minimum, "Outlook Personal Folders File" should be an option to select as
"type of storage")?

The symptoms indicate that your network administrator has blocked your use of Personal Folders .pst files in Outlook.
