Back Up Outlook Data File

When copying the outlook data file to remote storage unit, error message of
"invalid ms-dos function" appears with about 15 sec.left to complete copying
of the file. How do you fix this issue to allow the outlook data file to be
copied?

What program are you using to copy it? Is Outlook closed when you try to
copy it?
