I am using Outlook 2002 under Win XP SP1. When I try to copy my .pst file, I
get the following error message window:

Window title: Error copying file or folder
Window message: Cannot copy Outlook: Invalid MS-DOS function."

The Outlook.pst file is not read-only so I don't quite understand why I
cannot copy the file.

I have tried using the Outlook Backup Utility/Add-in, but I get the same
error message.

Please help.

Is Outlook closed when you're trying to copy the .pst file?

Yes, it is closed. However, I was able to export my data, got rid of the old
pst file and re-created a new outlook.pst file. Everything seems to be
working just fine now including the Personal Folders Backup Utility after
some tweaking. BTW, "scanpst.exe" did not detect any errors on the old pst
file. Go figure?!
