Outlook crashing

I'm running Windows XP and just upgraded Office 2003 to Office 2007. Outlook
keeps crashing. Apparently, it will go down when the user is attempting to
forward an email, closing an email, or sending a new email. The message I am
getting in the Events Log is:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6014.5000, stamp 46031a52,
faulting module wwlib.dll, version 12.0.6015.5000, stanp 460d89b2, debut? o,
fault address 0x0012b146

Any help would be appreciated ...

Thank you for your prompt response. Unfortunately, that did not work. I
also have since uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled, thinking that maybe
it was the upgrade that was the problem.

It seems that his Outlook will not stay connected to the Exchance Server. I
checked his connection on the network and it's great.

Any other ideas?

Hi Margaret,
Sorry for my late response, I was away for the weekend. Have you checked the
event viewer on the user's laptop/PC? Is the servername and username
resolving when you set up the profile for Outlook?

Yes, the server name and user name does resolve when I'm setting up a new
profile. the event message I'm getting are event id 1000 and event id 1002

The source is Microsoft Office 12 ... the actual message is listed in my
first post.

thanks for your prompt help in this ... I'm upgrading the entire office and
naturally, my boss is the only one having problems. Isn't that the usual?

Have you tried deleting and recreating the Outlook profile? Reboot the
computer inbetween.
Also, check for any add ins or Coms to Outlook that could be problematic
such as Snag It, etc. Another source of potential problems are things like
desktop search tools, etc.
Usually it's the boss who has a problem because they often install things
they shouldn't without understanding the potential for software conflicts.

I just wanted to let you know he DID have an add-on that was causing the
problems. Once I removed it, everything worked.

Thanks for all your help
