Outlook 2007 closes or restarts when I click dismiss on a reminder popup or
when I double click an item in my calendar. It does this 95% + of the time.
I don't seem to have this problem with e-mail or contacts.

Any help?

Thanks

I would suggest the following:

1) Run scanpst.exe against your PST file if you're using one.
2) Open Outlook using the /cleanreminders switch: Start > Run > outlook.exe
/cleanreminders.

Please post back and let me know how you made out or if you need further
instructions.

Where is this scanpst.exe program. I'm running Vista and I couldn't locate
it with search.

Thanks

The scanpst seems to have made it a little better. I'm beginning to think
this happens when I try opening a calendar item while it's downloading e-mail.

What happens when I run the cleanremiders switch? does it clear all the
remiders in the calendar or just clean up duplicates?

Thanks

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this.

I have run the scanpst and fix errors. I still got intermittent crashes.
scanpst would fix errors found after each crash.

I just ran the /cleanreminders. Here's to hoping that fixed it.

I will let you know.

Thanks
