Outlook Contacts Disappear

I have 2 separate computers at 2 different companies and i have just noticed
that contacts are disappesring at each location. I can creat a new contact
and select save/close and it disappears. Any Ideas
 
Which version of Outlook?

Check which View you are in - it's on the Advanced toolbar (leave it on -
there's great stuff on that toolbar)
