Outlook Contact Distribution List Problem

T

Tazzy

I have quite a few distribution lists. I have had them quite a while as well.
I used to be able to press the "update" button and then it would update the
list when I send emails. Now when I press the "update" button, it says:

"One or more of the members of the distribution list cannot be found" and
the gives me a list of 3thing to do. 1 - Remove lost members. 2 - Try to
repair the lost members and remove only those that cannot be resolved. 3 -
Cancel this operation.

The contacts are all there where they have been all a long. Now suddenly I
have this problem.

By the way, I am using Office 2003.

Please help!!

Sounds like you added these contacts at a time when you were using a
different data store (and then transferred the data to the current one at
some point). I think your only option is to remove the lost member entries
and readd them from the current Contacts folder.
