Outlook connector Sync Problem with hotmail

I have windows 7 pro, outlook 2007...

I keep getting this error sporadically when I open outlook:

(e-mail address removed)
We were unable to sign in to your account. Please try again. Outlook
Connector has encountered an error. Please restart Outlook. If the issue
continues, open the Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs and repair
Outlook Connector. If this does nto fix the issue, contact Support.

The error generally comes about 10 seconds after starting Outlook. I have 3
email accounts set up in outlook. One POP, one MSN.com and one Hotmail.com.
The only one that I have issues with is the hotmail address.

I have tried repairing outlook connector. I have tried deleting the acct
completely and re-adding it. I even tried deleting all messaging through the
web gui and re-added the account. The error still persists.

When I look in the "Sync Issues" folder I see:

Error Synchronizing Message
Error: 8004010f
Server Command: DELETE
Server Id: 01CD0D28-AF14-11DE-BCD8-002264C2433C

Error Synchronizing Message
Error: 8004010f
Server Command: DELETE
Server Id: 6800CCD7-F4EE-11DE-A57C-00215AD82404

any help is appreciated !!!!!!!

Thanks,

Mike

I am getting the same message in the sync registry. It happened after move folders from the OST to a PST. After a sync with Hotmail, the folders disappeared in Hotmail. I moved back the folders to the OST and after 90 minutes of sync I am still unable to see the back in Hotmail.
Thank you in advance

This is such a joke... Now I was prompted to "upgrade" outlook connector
which was a horrible, horrible, convoluted process that didn't work and kept
repeating itself over and over (outlook would continue to re-prompt o upgrade
EVERY time it was restarted). So I finally unistalled connector 12.1 manually
and attempted to search for the new version with google, which appeared to be
"Hotmail Outlook Connector".

Now the hotmail account works great, but I get the following error on my
msn.com account:

"We were unable to sign in to your account. Please try again. Could not
authenticate against the Windows Live ID service. Please try again later."

Besides this retarded error message telling me to "try again" twice. It
makes no sense due to the fact that there is no "Windows Live ID service"
listed on my pc ANYWHERE.

This is also a sporadic issue, which happens on and off multiple time a day.

Does anyone have an answer or possible solution?

Why is outlook connector so broke, and why can't microsoft fix it?
