Outlook Connector not working with MSN account. Any advice?

I use Outlook 2003 to retrieve email from my MSN account. Suddenly, Outlook
Connector quit working. First it doesn't automatically syncronize when I
open Outlook, and when I hit the Send/Receive button in Outlook, I ultimately
get an error message in the Send/Recieve Progress window: "Error 0x80040126,
the operation cannot be performed because the server is offline". Looking
for some advice on how I can fin this problem. The version of Outlook
Connector is 1.6.1601.0

Apparently this is a problem that started a few days ago and many Outlook
users have the same problem. I noticed it after update installed about 13
security updates including several for Office. This maybe just be a
coincidence. Wondering if that was the problem or mail server is having a
problem.
